This is IceT's entire point. Music like this song in particular makes parents angry at "hip-pop" because they have to monitor it. And seriously, with Mp3 players, downloads, file sharing etc. It isn't really that hard to believe that kids know this song even if their parents won't "buy" it for them.

My point is, adults aren't requesting to dance to this song, small children are now. When it was new a year ago, older teens and some young adults maybe but now that it is older just the kids like it, and again, because of his age it is targeting that age groups demographic.

You blame the parents which is your opinion, I think that is a harder task then you think though. I listened to whatever I wanted when I hit a certain age because I loved music and looked for ways to find what I liked regardless of an advisory sticker and its far easier to obtain music these days.

Ice T blames the artist, probably because he is one himself and can't afford to blame the 'labels'.

I don't have a record deal, so I say F the label. They should take the brunt of the responsibility on the issue IMO.
