By seeing the future and doing all you can to prevent the scenario happening you will be altering the events of the future and the initial scenario would be wrong so you would of never seen the future in the first place, as it would not happen in the way you saw it.
In short; By changing the future you change the past, in particular the moment you saw the future no longer is/was the future. It shows that the inevitable is inevitable, or that the future you saw was not the future at all.

But this all depends on one thing - is time linear? Does it continue on in a single path, or are there multiple dimensions where time branches off, where instead of deciding to post in this thread, you did something else?
If multiple timelines do exist, then changing the future will not create a paradox - there will be a timeline where you do try to change the future, and another where you don't. But this brings up another question - which timeline will we be looking into?
