Listen to the man! They're fantastic. Flawed, sure but all negatives are overpowered by great story telling, some great characters (give Yoda pets) and of course, lightsabers! The special effects are, at times, excellent too.



I actually saw the modern ones before I properly viewed any of the earlier installments. After seeing a couple (and playing Knights of the Old Republic) I really started to lose myself in their world(s). Had great fun going through the others afterwards.

If you like to immerse yourself in a world far more exciting and interested than ours for a good chunk of hours, give it a shot. I'm kind of glad I watched IV - VI first and I'd still do that now if I could go back but I think you might enjoy them either way.
