You dont understand we cant trade our most valuable leader in the locker room. It would just ruin everything(hence what happened when we trade Craig Rivet in the middle of the season). We can afford to keep him for another season. It would be a big mistake if we do trade him, especially in the middle of the season.

No it shouldn't. You ask anyone about who you rather have as your team captain if we got Sundin, and we got rid of Koivu, and everyone will mention Sundin.

I dont disagree with Higgins starting to turn himself into a leader, but when you got a leader like Sundin you got to give him the C. How is Higgins the only player to improve every year since his rookie season?? Plekanec as been improving a lot more, and Andrei Kostysyn had a big jump as well.
