Cross Over network

Hi,

I have a 2 computers at home, then i want these 2 to be networked and share the internet connections. I need to know the steps in cross-over networking, i have now a network cable which T568a on the other side and t568b on the other side. I need to know the steps.

there's an 8 port workgroup switch box that you can buy.

here's a picture



it's actually quite easy to use.

1. hook your internet connection into the uplink
2. connect your computers to slots 1 and 2

both of your computers will have internet and they will be connected to each other. But of course you also have to know how to set up a network in windows.

...and that is as simple as changing the workgroup name on all of the computers to the same name.

yeah I pretty much described it as the perfect way to do it, there is no easier way to do it.
