AWK is the spiffiest language you've never heard of.
I really like XSLT for it's uniqueness. Python is cool because it has a great sense of humor. When I'm writing C#, I feel like a professional developer. I find Java to be terribly boring. Erlang sounds exciting, but I haven't spent any quality time with it yet. C++ smells. I hate it. |

Currently I know a bit of command line code but that's not really good for anything. I also know HTML on a minimum level, from what I'm told it's not that hard to learn.
The only useful form of code that I know is Java, it's alright but in some ways really annoying. I can write programs that can draw various shapes, pictures that follow the mouse, and programs that you input things to get an answer such as an income tax program. I would eventually like to learn C#, and expand a lot more on HTML though. To answer the question though I think that Java is the best, it's very controversial and is pretty much used in all computers. |

I don't exactly know what I would do with C, my only program is basically an open-source cd-menu and some batch and registry scripts! ![]() Check it out if you want. Startfox.webs.com |

I love Visual Basic for its Easiness and Fast Application Making.
I love Dark basic because it's as easy as Visual Basic and gives you the ability to makes games with no deep understanding of Directx. and Finally, I love C and C++ for their Power and Control, and their ability to make every application you ever imagine! |

OooOO! The ones I've had real experience in (from most liked to least) are Python, C, and C++. First year of college I took C++, which was after I had been using python for a while. Now I'm diving into C, and it hasn't shown it's self to have any syntactical differences with C++. I mean, No classes, but whatevskeis.

I'm working on learning Python right now, with a programming background that consists of programming my graphing calculator back in the day, knowing HTML, and knowing a little C++. After having mucked about with Python for day now, I have to wonder what I was thinking messing about with all the bull**** of C++, when I doubt I'll ever be coding anything that would suffer for my using a high-level language. Not only do I not have to muck about with compilers and batch files just to test my code when using Python, but I don't have to end lines with semi-colons! This is all quite new and shocking to me.
