I find that the cleaner the code, the better chance it has of appearing correctly on different browsers.
I suggest moving to XHTML if you can. It's the new wave of the internet. Why not jump on now while it's still new.

I'll jump on board right now. :) Also, thanks for your recent post called "How clean is your XHTML code?"
It gave me a few sites to look at and I notice that they were using Transitional over Strict and Frameset. |

Oh! I was going to try to find that post and link to it but I forgot. Glad you found it. That is a great tool. I can't say I've used it much yet but on future sites I plan to run everything through that filter to catch the errors.
