Any form of addiction normally comes from the fact that your trying to substitute something thats missing from your life. Maybe you should try and find out what that is. Either way, seek out help to deal with your 'self medication' or it will be the end of you, physically and socially.

I think you should look up and go to a few AA meetings. No one has to know about it and they can help you big time.
