Angels Deal Cabrera To White Sox
ESPN - The White Sox and Angels completed a major trade Monday, with Chicago acquiring gold glove shortstop Orlando Cabrera in exchange for right-handed starting pitcher Jon Garland.
Cabrera, 33, enjoyed a career year in 2007 for the Angels, batting .301 with 35 doubles, 8 home runs and 86 RBIs. He also scored a career-best 101 runs in 155 games.

"How to hit home runs: I swing as hard as I can, and I try to swing right through the ball...The harder you grip the bat, the more you can swing it through the ball, and the farther the ball will go. I swing big, with everything I've got. I hit big or I miss big. I like to live as big as I can." Babe Ruth

Garland should help the Angels rotation a lot. They now have a great pitching rotation.
And the White Sox now have a very good SS.
Good trade for both sides but a little better for the Sox imo.

I personally think that the White Sox wins this trade because Garland hasn't been that good in the last couple of seasons, but Cabrera has been a hitting machine, and he's won a gold glove. In the long run this trade can work for both teams but right now in my opinion, the White Sox win this trade.
