Blood Movie to Open in March

The Korean news website Star News reports that Universal Studios is planning to release Chris Nahon's live-action film adaptation of the Blood: The Last Vampire anime film on 2,000 screens in North America next March. South Korea's Gianna Jun (Ji-hyun Jun of My Sassy Girl) stars as the ageless girl Saya who hunts down a breed of blood-feeding demons in Tokyo in 1970.
France's Pathé and Hong Kong's EDKO Film plan to distribute the film in other countries around the world simultaneously. Pathé lists a June 2009 release date for France, but the current Korean release date has not been announced.

I liked the original movie but I didn't think the series was that good.
I'll still end up checking this out when it's released though.

I have Blood: The last Vampire on DVD, I liked it quite a bit. I didn't know there was a series too? I'll check this out, it seems like something that could be adapted well.

I wouldn't go in expecting a masterpiece. It's a pretty average show or at least I thought so.
But watch it and let me know what you think.
