ok, love the hints and tips, but I have yet to receive the basic definitions of things... wth is an armature? Yes Ive googled tons of places and 'seen' them but what do I use it for? LOL I need "Clay For Dummies" :D

Hahaha....an armature is basiclly a skeleton. It gives the finished piece more stability and strength. I use it in all of my sculpts, I've learned the hard way, it just makes more sense. Just use wire and shape it into the design you are striving for.
