Nice!!!! Is that your shop? If it is Can I come and over work there?

I like! What is the fur made of? Did you use a solid foam core?

How many hours do you have into that one. Me I have 20hrs into each of my little guys.

What did you use for the dog drool? You do nice work. Where ya gonna put that!
Here is the imp so far..

Re: Halloween work in progress

That's my garage, you can come help make the props, just grab your board!!

This big boy (actually the haunt owner named it Precious...not sure it fits, but oh well *shrugs*) has a welded frame, there's no way the foam could hold itself up. It's going into a giant kennel at his haunt, you'll only see the head popping out of it's giant doghouse. The jaws open and close (chomp-chomp) with a cylinder.

The fur is just the cheapest store bought stuff I could find, no sense investing big into something that'll have to be re-furred next year (people do like to grab the props)

The drool is Dragon Skin from Smooth On...I LOVE this stuff!!

As far as hours invested...who knows??? I started on Saturday, and called in sick to work yesterday (Monday) to finish it...I'm pretty sure I slept sometime in between.

I love the imp so far....I can't wait to see how your yard looks this year.

I'm hoping to have time to remake my giant spiders and their webs. I also finished up my giant demon hands. They are 2ft wide and 5 ft tall. Wait till you see the demon that is attached to them.

The imp is coming along nicely. I still need to make his spine and rotting skin.
He is part of the optical illusion that I’m cooking up.

If I pull this off the house will vanish and you will only see what I want you to see. Lots of optical tricks this year.

Good news! I just sold the scarecrow from last year..

And yes Melos I worked in the movie and toy industry. I made props and toys for Comicbook movies.

If it's a comicbook or horror/scifi then you can bet i've got a hand in it in some way.
