I def plan to. In the new house (we'll be moving in in Nov) we'll have a room just for Knyte and I, so I should have the room to get stuff out and the ability to close it away from little hands when needed. I plan on painting some new pieces for our new house when I can.
On that note, has anyone painted with acrylics? I like the look but have yet to use them at all. I'm just looking for any tips on ways to work with them.

The Grow Your Own 1Up Mushroom does not come with any soil. You need to provide your own. It can be found on the ground, generally outdoors. - ThinkGeek

That's all I use when I paint.
When I'm going for quality I use Winsor and Newton. It's a thicker acrylic and you can get the same results as oils without the fuss. If you want it thinner, just water it down a bit.
The cheap $1 acrylics work well for bigger projects, especially murals.

Very good to know thanks. I love the looks of oils, but they are just too messy and not fun for me to paint with, hence the reason I thought I'd try acrylics. I don't have any problem spending a little more on my art supplies, I understand the importance of quality.
