Atari is not Nintendo.

However, Atari is still alive and thus, they probably don't want their games (no matter how old) given away and traded for free.

yes, but Donkey Kong and Mario Bros.is Nintendo property, NOT ATARI!

Nintendo protects there property, hence, not haveing links to certain stuff on the boards. Nintendo is big on anti-piracy.
