Auction questions.

Does anyone have any good advice to save money and keep from getting scammed in regards for selling a sony ps3. My husband and I as well as a friend are going to stand in line and hopefully obtain 3 of these so we can have some xtra christmas money, but I know that paypal charges fees I have a business account with paypal should I drop that to a regular account. And how should I avoid scamming people with running an auction like this? Any advice is really appreciated.

Sincerely,
Christena

Re: Auction questions.

Make sure what you're selling works properly and is in good condition.

Start it at the lowest you are willing to take; that way when someone bids, it is sold for a price you're willing to accept.

Estimate PayPal fees and add that to the starting bid price. That way they're automatically covered.

Shipping is for shipping, not for income. Use exact shipping whenever possible. It irritates a buyer to pay $3.00 for shipping and have the envelope arrive clearly marked "56 cents" you know.

Check email often so you can answer any questions quickly. Good communication is key!
