Re: eBay Christmas Shopping

I definitely do a lot of Christmas shopping on Ebay. Often, I will hear of something that a family member is requesting. My first stop is Ebay to see if I can get it for a better deal.

I start early since I often need time to find *just* the right items.

I always buy from people with only high feedback. I got burned once when I bought from someone who had less than 10 sales total. It took me weeks (and two nastygrams from me) to finally get my item.

So, I am now sticking with more experienced sellers.

Re: eBay Christmas Shopping

Im very excited this time of year. Especially for things to buy on auction sites. I like to shop eBay for unique gifts for each adult in the family. I stay local for the kids though. And the unique gifts for adults usually dont have working parts so I dont run into "Well we only had that one of the item".

Last year I purchased a nice signed poster for my brother from his favorite movie. Havent put too much thought into what my list is gonna be yet this year. I tend to browse movie memorbilia and it gives me ideas. You can get some great ideas on what to purchase just by what types of movies the people like :)

Don't interrupt me when I'm talking to myself!

Re: eBay Christmas Shopping

This is the first time in my life that Christmas is more than a week away still and I have no more shopping to do thanks to ebay. What am I going to do with myself and all this spare time?

Let not him who is houseless pull down the house of another, but let him work diligently and build one for himself, thus by example assuring that his own shall be safe from violence when built. _(Abraham Lincoln)
