Re: eBay Christmas Shopping

Well, I was planning on doing some Christmas shopping on eBay this year, but looks like there won't be time now. Back to the crowded malls I guess. I still have to do most of my shopping too..

I may end up weighing 500lbs but I'll still find a way to pull it off sexily at the nudist colony. ~ysabel

Re: eBay Christmas Shopping

I've made a few purchases for the holidays off eBay, but doubt that I will this year. It seems, no matter how quickly you pay for an item, you don't always get it when you think you should. I've had pretty good luck, but with Christmas items, I'd rather buy locally.

Re: eBay Christmas Shopping

I think being able to Christmas shop online has saved my life these last few years... you can get an early start without having to go anywhere, and when the season comes around, you don't have to go to all the busy shops!

I buy Christmas presents online, but my husband and I kind of have to take turns, because we have a shared email as our eBay email address, and while I'm bidding and buying he can't look at it (if it's for him, of course), and vice versa. It gets complicated. :P

Re: eBay Christmas Shopping

I'll make most of my Christmas presents, but I'll be buying the supplies on ebay. It's a great place to get recycled fiber and also handspun fiber from small farms.

Re: eBay Christmas Shopping

I've done most of my Christmas shopping on eBay for quite a while but it's getting to be less and less as prices go up there and other sites have great sales. If I can get it for not much more at Amazon.com, say, I'll go for the place that takes returns and I know is reliable. I also shop other sites after Christmas, to get a little bit of a head start on the next year.

I do a lot of shopping online, too. Some eBay, but I'm not opposed to using other sites, especially sites with which I have some history and I know they're reliable.

Re: eBay Christmas Shopping

The past few years I have purchased a few hard to find gifts on ebay. I haven't been too thrilled with the "deals" recently there, so I'm shopping elsewhere this year.

Re: eBay Christmas Shopping

I still like to go "Christmas Shopping" even if all my gifts are finished. We take a whole day to poke around stores in town and have a nice lunch out. It's part of the season.

Re: eBay Christmas Shopping

I haven't been inside a mall in 4 or 5 years. I do the vast majority of all my shopping online really, and holiday shopping will be no different. I will be checking out ebay for sure.
