Wooden Supercar Apparently Being Built
Hi all I came across this and thought I would share it with you all.
A 240MPH wooden supercar designed NC State graduate student Joe Harmond. The student behind the concept, is actually building the damn thing. That's what it's supposed to look like when it's finished there.
It still has a long way to go, but there's some build photos and a video on his site.
I must admit, I thought it was all a sham until I saw them. Dude is actually building himself a damn supercar. Out of wood. Good looking, Joe.

You have to give it to Joe it is one sweet looking ride. I just can't figure out how one would keep the car from rotting or bursting in to flames.
I think he is going to keep it as a show car, if it was me I would drive it once and then put into several car show competition. I bet it WOOD win.

Seen it and love it! Wooden cars should make a come back, especially a wooden supercar!
