All-Time Draft
I'm interested in having an all-time draft. We'll pick 25 man teams from all MLB players. It'll be a snake draft, with a randomly determined draft order. We'll have a vote to see which team is the best, and if anyone has a sim, we can do that too.
We will use the DH (and any player can be your DH). Center fielders can play any OF position. RF and LF are interchangeable.
Ignore the possibility that anyone took steroids. If I pick Jose Canseco, I get the numbers he really produced.
We'll use the best single season for any player drafted. Years before 1900 can't be used (not the best cutoff date, but it's simple).
Trades will be allowed at any point in the draft, and you can trade draft picks.
We need a minimum of 6 teams and a maximum of 12 teams.
I will establish a draft clock based on where everyone lives, etc.
If there are any rules I forgot, just ask.

I"ll defenitely participating in this All Time Draft, I hope that we can get enough people to participate, because its going to be awesome. I know a lot of the old time players, so I think I can create a great team.

Alright. We have the minimum 6. I'm going to leave it open a bit longer - hopefully we'll be able to pick up one or two more people.

Unless anyone has a conflict, I think Wednesday will be our start day. If anyone joins before then, great, if not, we can get things rolling.
BTW, what time zones do you all live in? I'll establish the draft windows based on where everyone lives (if we all live in the US, I can just say everyone has 8 hours to pick, and that the 8 hour clock pauses between 9:00 PM and 7:30 AM Pacific Standard time (meaning that you can still pick during that time, but you don't have to worry that you'll get skipped then, because your clock won't run out).
