I am moving my house and want to know that does insurance is necessary before moving?

My Mood:
If you plan on purchasing a home that will me mortgaged, then yes insurance is required. The mortgage company has to make sure that their interest in the home will be covered.
If you are just renting a place, it's usually up to your discretion whether or not to get a renters insurance policy.
