Ignoring the fact he left (and a thousand apologies for posting in the closed thread, but if he comes back he might be interested in another opinion, and Tan may be interested), here's my thoughts...
I like Deve's better with a few exceptions... it's stylish, clean, and if you look closely there's actually quite a bit of detail in the background that shows he didn't just slap it together... the corners are also very nice looking. However, the pink stroke is incredibly annoyingly overdone in this sort of sig, has never looked very good, and in my opinion is indicative of poor blending ability... also, the text does not look very good and is hard to read, while his face in comparison to the high contrast of his shirt is very flat looking.
I think Tan's sig is too busy with overuse of brushes and patterns without any real cohesion, the color is kind of drab, and overall it looks pretty much like any other of his sigs. However, the font is much better (although the small font above the name is somewhat hard to read), and the lighting is good.
