Bonjour!

Since blogging about my real life won't generate much interest unless you're a stay-at-home parent and think that baby poop is a big event, I decided to write about GF life instead, hence the gfisms series. Enjoy!

During my night shift work at the Factory today, I saw the mayor. He doesn't seem to be satisfied with our shift's production. He said the Factory needs more workers at this time. That means either hiring new people or reassigning those in the day shifts (or make them work overtime). I think MI will not be very happy with the latter because their MI3 is already getting busier handling potential sleep disordered patients.

We're supposed to reach our production milestone today. That is, if my personal prediction were correct. I picked today's date and Reeve as the employee whose finish product log marks the milestone. Oh well, maybe this weekend then. UNLESS this new workaholic employee, Emil, multiplies his efforts tenfold. Ellen would have a heart attack if he did. LOL

When night shift ended I took the shuttle with the mayor (who seriously needs to go to bed). The shuttle moves around town nonstop but only a few can get on it. There's a perpetual attendance/production requirement to secure a seat. Just one mistake and it can cost your place (which will be given to others who are running closely waiting for the next available seat they can grab and put their name on). Several lost their seats already. Like the mayor, I have my own First Class seat! We talked about who we think will lose his seat soon.

I noticed that Rick's wearing dark contact lenses. Majority of the residents wear these lenses (they come in different colors) or wear glasses (like me). These allow you to look at the town differently depending on your taste. Some just stay with the normal view (the way they saw town when they got here). In the beginning I was like them. After all, the town looks fine already that I wasn't looking for a change. But once you try on the glasses, it's hard to go back to the normal view.

I didn't feel like going home yet. I remained in the shuttle even when Rick already got off. Where to go? I heard the Casino has a new room (you can now play even if you're the only one in there). Speaking of the casino, the mayor was in another anthem obsession mode the other night and played the anthem in the poker room in the middle of a hand. That made a few people crazy. I couldn't hear it because I missed the first part but Zane, Chester, and older Canadian Brother (OCB) kept hearing the anthem in loop. The only way to stop it was to get out the casino and go back in.

The shuttle passed one of the residential areas. I think this is where most High Society members live. I haven't really checked out this area so I decided that's what I'm going to do with my spare time. That and update my journal. Some of the houses look the same because there's a standard house design to follow in town unless you are a member of the High Society.

That's why Raiquen's house stood out on the street. The head of the Transportation Union gang painted his house purple (inspired by some famous doctor) and surrounded it with several phone booths. He's a friendly guy and his house porch tells you he has welcomed a lot of guests. I dropped a note on his mailbox to say I passed.

Hmm, I'm not sure whose house this is but it reminds me of the DOS computer screen. And this one...must be Kong's house. He's been doing renovations lately to achieve a theme related to his GF Idol entry. One day he painted it so bright you thought it was daytime at night.

Ah, Willow's pretty house. Freshly painted in periwinkle (which I heard has been mistaken for purple by some of her guests). I can see the full moon behind her roof. It must give a nice view from her attic. My guess is that her bedroom is rarely used and if ever she has a kitchen, it's only because it came with the house. I think I won't leave a message on her mailbox. Egor has spammed it a lot last week and if he's still doing it, my note will just get lost among the junk.

The shuttle is back already. Might as well catch it. I think I'll go back to the Factory to work since I have nothing better to do at the moment. And there are some interesting folks I want to talk to...

P.S. Beardy is back!

Nice. I'm wondering how long you can keep up the new ideas.

As long as you make new site features I guess I have something to talk about. Or you can actually sleep and I'll write up how shocked all the residents were.
