Google it, it's legit.

Finished it when I had a nice big 5 hour delay because ****ing Alaska Airlines decided to shoo us out of the plane while they fixed an unidentified mechanical problem. I didn't find it at all depressing, if anything the end (the epilogue especially) was far too optimistic. Notice how many people got redeemed/improved?

The character cameos got somewhat annoying. The first 500 pages seemed to have no direction, and were prone to repetition.

Alright, SPOILERS

The Ministry raid, the Gringotts raid, and the Godric's Hollow scene all felt poorly written and paced, I didn't feel compelled or bought how they panned out. The interim between them was only passively intresting. It was probably the worst writing in the series since...most of Order of the Phoenix.

From the entrance into Aberforth's on, the narrative takes a focused, compelling turn. Emphasis is placed into rhetorical sharpness with dialouge, and the pacing was much better done. The near-death scene had some convoluted logic to it, but besides that it was excellently written. I do not think that Rowling was too lenienet on the characters: good characters died in far greater numbers than evil ones (though you noticed that they quickly made many characters much less evil). The epilouge was pure WAFF (and I didn't like Luna being left out of it, she was the only member of "the six" in Order of the Phoenix that wasn't mentioned), but hey, some hearts had to get mended.

End SPOILERS, biznotch.

Rowling says she hasn't ruled out more books, and you can see she leaves it WIDE open for what wouldn't be sequels so much as a new series in the same universe.

I lost faith in Rowling after Order; it was simply a terrible book for 700 of it's 800 pages, however she rebounded and ended it with class and skill.

I finished the book like 3 days after 7-21 and I have to say it was a really great book. Probably the best of the series. Oh and more than 2 people die.

Grief counseling... LMAO! Man yeah its hard the amount of deaths she caused in this book but I don't think it will be that bad.

But still some were just above and beyond! GAH! I can't believe the series is over with! And why did she have to end it the way she did.. I NEED MORE CLOSURE!!!

Those who claim that a children's book should have more crippling tragedy for the sake of tragedy should be excluded from having, raising, or being around kids.

I'm currently re-reading the 7th book because my first time through is always a speed read. I should be able to pick up more detail now.

I don't want to post spoilers because I don't know who has and who hasn't read the 7th book yet.

All I feel like saying is I knew the truth about Severus Snape all along. Althoughh is affection for a certain person I didn't see coming from a mile away XD

Ronald Mcdonald...he makes a DELICIOUS dollar menu!!!
