I've been meaning to read THE CIDER HOUSE RULES and BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S for years. I've seen the movie adaptations and loved them both. But I've been warned that the book BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S is sleazier and way more depressing than the movie.

I've never seen Breakfast at Tiffany's, but I really liked the book. It's more of a novella, really. I think I read it in two sittings. The Cider House Rules is my favorite from John Irving. I think you'll really like it. The film was pretty true to the book.
