Has anyone heard of NaNoWriMo? :)
I was just looking it up, i don't get the point of it; is it like fictionpress?

I prefer to write at my own pace, sice i don't have the time as it is these days.

^ And he's really really good .

I write historical romantic fiction. I've ended up writing two edited, formatted and eventually deleted novels in the past few years. One was 1430-some pages long, set in historical Ireland, and the other was around 600. I also have about 30 beginnings of stories or scenes that need to eventually be placed or thrown away. I've tried song writing but I'll leave that to teh future hubby. He's better at it .

You should both enter the short story contest. Should be a breeze compared to what you've done so far.

I love to write. Since I was 13 I have been writing poetry, but I can't really write when I choose to do, a need for it just seems to come on so I sit down and write, I have to be in a certain frame of mind to do it. I am trying to write a novel, I have a great idea that is completely original, I have done all the plans for it and I even made a family tree for the Characters, I just need to sit down and write it now, I have written parts of it but then I just get myself wound up trying to concentrate for long periods of time, I am a total perfectionist and I always find myself re writing everything that I have written so far. I need to sort it out! :)

She do anything necessary for him and he do anything necessary for her so don't let the necessary occur

I've always loved to write. Poems, fictional. I love abusing author's and poet's licenses in all my work [well, most].

Le parole sono alla mia anima, poichč la vostra anima č a voi ~ me

One of my favourite quotes:
"Life is a long preparation for something that never happens" ~ Keats.

I've attached a poem and a story for anyone who has free time. Enjoy them. [if you can!]No I haven't...files are too large. Oh well!

" Why does it take a minute to say hello and forever to say goodbye?" ~ anon.

That's a shame, I would have liked to have a read.

I've come up with a brand new storyline...if it works out alright I might post the first chapter, or edit it into a short story, who knows.

You treat me as an outsider. You call an outcast, brand me an exile, but I am not so different from your kind, you know. Some small part of me was once Human. Perhaps this is why I fight for you...

Sometimes I wonder if there's 'a book in me,' but I spend so much of my day writing (news) that I just don't have the energy/attention span left to try to organize one. I guess I'll just be telling my tales in blogs/forums. Beats thinking I have something marketable/sellable, and being at a book-signing and hearing the crickets chirp

Here's a good way to make sure you have a full house at a book signing: find out if your neighborhood has a book club. You know the kind, usually a bunch of housewives/friends who agree to all read a book once a month and then get together to discuss it. Make a deal with the club: they'll all buy a copy of your book and in return you'll come to their meeting and autograph their books.
