Besides which, finding someone to actually publish said work might be hard - I for one wouldn't have a clue how to get a publisher to take a gander.

So much simpler to write for pleasure, and to write for a smaller audience (and hopefully less critical) like GF.

I am the only one of my kind. An oddity; unique. An abberation. Do you know what it's like? To be utterly alone? So alone...Is it any wonder I scream with rage and sorrow?

I'm a writer. I've written a children's book (unpublished) and a Pantomime. I've just finished an English degree, and i'm going back to do a MA in creative writing which will help with my writing. I write every day, even if its only planning out what i am going to write. I can't help it. i have a dozen ideas going around in my head at any one time and not enough hours in the day to pin them all down :(

I used to enjoy writing a lot when I was younger. My imagination was crazy and I'd always find something to write about when I was in school.

If you gave me a piece of a paper and pen today, I'd turn the paper into something (most likely a screwed up ball) and hand it back to you.

I got some poems published in college and I used to go to readings at least once a month. I've stopped writing as much since I graduated.

I've just started a blog, which I hope to keep up on a regular basis. I'd like to write a screenplay - don't think I'd be up to writing a novel any time soon,

Here's a link to my blog if you have a mo'

I'd love to be a writer one day. At the moment I write poems and short stories which I post on a website where people can read and review them. I'm also writing a novel (one in a series of five!) which I've been working on for about two years.
