Re: Any writers here?
When you have ideas, Andrew, write them down immediately in a notebook you can put aside, in a drawer so you won't forget.
Writing takes dedication, discipline and a strong lust for the venue.
I'm a writer and I've had many people tell me, "If I only had the time I'd write a book"...
No, they wouldn't. Writing isn't an 'easy' job contrary to what a lot of my friends think.
Yet for me it's a pleasure and the most demanding job I will ever have.

Re: Any writers here?
Does anybody here have any experience with the Authorhouse web site? They seem to have some interesting resources for authors who want to get published.

Re: Any writers here?
None whatsoever.
Me? Ya, I write stuff. I'm writing some fantasy books (watch out for "The Auzii Morai", "The Great Beldynian Saga", "Al Cratogne da Bahnei", and/or anything else written by Rebydus Rites, Sage of Angasta Denos). I get writer's block sometimes, I think. But usually, I can just sit there and type away for hours on end. I think one day, I wrote 5 pages of fine print. I had a story in mind and just wrenched it out of my consience quite easily. I get caught up in the adventure, and translate it to this here screen.
So, Andrew. Let me get this straight. There a lot of things that you have a little to say about, and a few things that you have a lot to say about? Well I don't have any suggestions, since I have no idea how it all really works (Tolkien was famous, but he was an amateur of sorts). Basically, I just write what I feel like writing. Maybe that's what you should do, I don't know. Perhaps people would like it.

Re: Any writers here?
I love to write all kinds of things. I am working on several books now at the same time which can get a little overwhelming. I think whatever comes into my head I have to try to write a story about it. I am Writing my best first book called Black Hearts. It's like in the Dark ages only a little bit twisted.

Re: Any writers here?
I love writing about stuff that takes place in the year 2224 (I dont know why) but everything is still in castle times and the year does not actually matter, I just like the number for a year.

This one right here is when I don't have to do it, which leaves nothing else but the one. No I don't think so. Not there. HI!
yea.. this is my first post here. I like to write. I'm not planning to get anything published. I started to write when an idea popped into my head a couple hours ago. Now I discovered that I'm pretty good. I'm gonna post a story on here about a swordsman named Jared. He has dreams that predict the future. All is going well in his life until he has a dream about death. How does that sound? I think it's not bad for my first story, but it is my first story so I don't know what's good and bad.
I'm probably gonna post this story if people like my idea.
EDIT: i just realized this hasnt been posted in for a while... mybad

Re: Any writers here?
Writing has always been one of my strong points. Though I am not a fan of the traditional essay or report, i prefer to write abstract or poetry.
