I've written several drafts of children's picture books and finally submitted one last month.

kudos!

I'm 20, nearly 21, and I have been writing since I was 7. I have many novels and short stories that are in the works and have been for a long time. I still have a ways to go but I have a couple that just might make it. I wish you luck, as a fellow writer! =)

Yes, I write a lot, but I don't let people read anything I write. I've been writing for about six years now, I guess.

I've got so much in the works too that it's hard to keep writing because I've always got new ideas.

I use to have tons of ideas that I'd write up and then let go and move onto something else, seems like I was waiting for the write story to come along.
I've been working on the "right one" about 6 months now.
The only time I have to write is late at night, so it's slow going but I feel really good about what I've done so far.

I can't even decide how to start my "epic" one (the one that has had the most work put into it). I know everything except how to start it.

:/

The starting point was hardest for me too, in fact I still think I'll change it; but I was so tired of stressing over how to catch the readers immediate attention that I decided to just move on.
It's strange how the bones of the book are so much easier than everything else, even the title was a piece of cake compared to the first paragraph.

The title took me a few weeks and I finally decided on "The Harbinger" but not subtitle yet.

I've had that problem, too. There's a novel I've wanted to write since six years ago, and everything is completely thought out and outlined, and I know everything that will happen in the story, and when I gave my friend a summary she was like, "god, that was an epic story and you told it all in forty-five minutes". But even after six years of planning it out, I still have not found a way to start it. I've tried a thousand times, but was never satisfied with it. I don't think I'll ever get to writing it.

*Nods* Yeah, I guess I'm a writer. A few of my teachers think I should try to get a book published but I dunno. Guess I have an idea for a book but not sure...

(I'm a very undecisive person by the looks of it...)
