I've never had a bad bookstore experience and I'm one of those nerds who go and spend hours in them. Even if I was experiencing poor service in one I probably wouldn't notice, since I'm always lost in my own little world when I'm in a bookstore.

Idk, I like Borders more than Barnes & Noble. Bordres seems cheaper and offers better rewards. I actually went to borders today and got 4 books:

John McCain: An American Odyssey by Robert Timberg $4
Yankees Suck: The Unofficial Guide for those who hate, depise, loather, and detest those bums from the bronx by Jim Gerard $11
The Pact by Jodi Picoult $8
Perfect Match by Jodi Picoult $15

So $38 for 4 book, plus 25% off with my card and a coupon. So 28.50 + tax. I think that thats pretty good.

idk, I've just never been that interested in B&N as I am in Borders.

Ernest Ransom: These are not the best if times...as your editorials remind us
A.A. Hayes : Why not get a Democrat back in there?

Borders seems like the "hipper, younger cousin" of Borders to me. I still like both, but I see B&N having better sales.

In the end we're all just chalk lines on the concrete, drawn only to be washed away . .
I'd rather you hate me for everything I am
Than have you love me for something that I'm not
