'Death of a Salesman' was mind-numbingly boring but the worst one for me has to be "The Mayor of Casterbridge". I thought I was going to slip into a coma at one point. I still have flashbacks to long, boring lessons in college trying to muster up some enthusiasm for this bore-fest.

Lord of the Rings

Honestly, Tolkien's style is so thick with words that it made me want to kill myself.

A taste for death–P.D.James
This author seems to be a forensic person. So she gives importance to each and every minute details that she starts describeing a house in terms the colour of windows and the number of grills in each of them. That was very monotonous to read.

Gregory Maguire's Son Of a Witch, the sequel to Wicked. It's too slow, and way too descriptive. I couldn't get into it after a couple of chapters, so stopped reading it.

You're such an inspiration for the ways that I will never ever choose to be.
