Gay/Lesbian Themed Books
Have any of you read any gay/lesbian themed books? If so, what were they and what did you think of them?
I've read a few of them.
Keeping You A Secret by Julie Ann Peters (f/f)
Luna by Julie Ann Peters (trans)
Far From Xanadu by JAP (f/f)
Empress of the World by Sarah Ryan (f/f)
Bermudez Triangle by Maureen Johnson (f/f)
Kissing Kate by Lauren Myracle (f/f)
And Am I Blue? by Bruce Coville, M.E. Kerr, William Sleator, and Jane Yolen (and others)
That last one is a collection of short stories.
I loved all of them. In their own special way each book has made a place in my heart.

my library doesnt like me
its full of mean people who glare at you all the time.
there's a family-owned bookstore around the corner from my house
i'd rather support it than a huge chain of libraries.

Luna is a beautiful book. I just finished reading it for the second time.
It's so sad.
I urge you to get it as soon as possible.

you do know that the library is supported with tax dollars, right? it's not a chain.
also going there does not "support" them.
i'm just sayin. you can read for free.

I might, at some point in time, read an f/f book. I might look for the ones you guys have mentioned. Anymore good ones?
I'd never read m/m books, though. Since male homosexuality doesn't interest me, especially since I'm straight.

A good m/m series is Rainbow Boys. There are three, I think.
Rainbow Boys, Rainbow High, and Rainbow Road. It's a very good series, though I've only read the first two.
The author is Alex Sanchez, something like that.

Boy Meets Boy is defiantly among my favorites. It's a classic boy-meets-girl boy-gets-girl, boy-loses-girl, boy-gets-girl-back story... only the girl is now a boy. And the main character's best friend is both the Homecoming (Drag) Queen and the star quarterback.
I've heard of Rainbow Boys! I should probably pick that up...
