Kite Runner

Has anyone read this book? I ahev heard some great stuff about it and they already made a movie about it. It's about two brothers in Afghanistan and it has a lot to do with the Taliban.

Re: Kite Runner

It sounds interesting, I will probably end up reading it soon

"Ohh! OOOhhh!!!-Oh and again! I made it. I know it. I can't see it but I know I made it. Oh my God I made it. Alright, don't give up. This is for everything. This is when I don't have to do it. This one right here is when I don't have to do it, which leaves nothing else but the one. No I don't think so. Not there. God I wish I could turn the volume-OH **** Aahhh son of a **** I talk too much. ****." - 00vega -

Counting down to Christmas: I hope everyone had a great Christmas!

Re: Kite Runner

I tried reading this, but ended up disliking it around page 100. Mostly because of what the main character did (or rather, didn't do). I won't spoil it for anyone, but it just seemed so cowardly and distasteful I couldn't stand him anymore from that point on. And when that happens, I can't finish the book without loathing it. Maybe someday I'll try reading it again.

Meh.

It is an amazing book. The ending is very well done, and the characters struggle is heart wrenching.
