Tony Hoard's "We Shall Scrimp and Save" is pretty funny. An English person might see the humor best, but when I'm sixty-four chapters into a book I don't let a little cryptic terminology throw me off.

I read Gone with the Wind back in high school. I think it was probably the longest book I have ever read.

Gone with the Wing - but that's an excellent book, I've read it about 5 times since I was 14.

Probably one of the Harry Potter books. Witching Hour by Anne Rice was also really long.

Na, longest book ever has to be the Duncton Woods or Wheel of time books. Wheel of time books are very good by the way, and a new one is coming out in November :)

"It" by Stephen King. But the pages were also really small so word length-wise? I'm not sure... I've read lots of stuff so it's hard to say.
