Longest Novel You've Ever Read?

What's the longest novel you've ever read?

I'm at right around 550 pages from what I can remember.

I'd rather books be longer than shorter. I rarely will touch a book that is less than 300 pages and 400 is my ideal. I prefer books that are 500+ if possible.

I did think of asking you to join my little scheme, but somehow I knew, 007's loyalty was always to the mission, never to his friends. ~006

The longest book ive read is Eldest, in the eragon series. I don't have teh book with me, so I can't say the exact amount of pages.

Wiki says 704 pages

Eldest - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I must recommend this series to any fantasy readers.

Harry Potter V has 870 pages

Gone with the Wind has more than 1000 pages

I have read both more than twice, at least.

ETA: The Stand by Stephen King (also more than 1000 pages)

I believe the longest book I've ever read was The Stand, uncut version, by Stephen King. According to Wiki, it's 1168 pages long, but was well worth it, in my opinion.

I've also read the harry potter series, but even better is the dark tower series by stephen king. There's 7, just like in harry potter, but they are much better. I think the biggest book is roughly 700 pages.

haha hey me too!

I think that both Eragon and Eldest are amazing books.

I'll be reading Brisingr soon though and that's 748 pages according to wikipedia, I guess that the rumors that the book was longer than both eragon and Eldest were just wrong.

This one right here is when I don't have to do it, which leaves nothing else but the one. No I don't think so. Not there. Don't remember how many pages cause I lost the book, but I believe the longest book I've read to be "Mein Kampf" by Adolf Hitler.

Stephen King's IT was 1150 pages, their abouts.

1984 wasn't long, but the story was so amazing it felt longer

It is a very interesting read. Explains a lot about his mental state, he wrote it while in prison.
