Magazines

How many do you read a week? And what are they?

Well I only really read one a week, because it comes out weekly. It is the Australian version of Zoo magazine. It had a lot of random stuff in it, but it is interesting at the same time, good fun magazine.

I have a subscription for the weekly New Scientist. Problem is I dont always have time to read it and at present Im about 3 months behind.

Occasionaly if I am out and about I will buy The Economist or National Geographic.

On the other end of the scale I am also a subscriber to MAD magazine. I rarely read it, I had an unbelievably good offer for a long subscription for only a few dollars afew years ago, I dont think they took me off the mailing list.

I usually read Slam Magazine which is a basketball magazine, and I also like to read Sports Illustrated. I read them everytime a new issue comes out on stand.

"How to hit home runs: I swing as hard as I can, and I try to swing right through the ball...The harder you grip the bat, the more you can swing it through the ball, and the farther the ball will go. I swing big, with everything I've got. I hit big or I miss big. I like to live as big as I can." Babe Ruth

I use to subscribe to a game magazine a little under a year ago, but stopped due to the Internet. It's just easier to browse the Internet for reviews and new releases.

Other than that, I don't enjoy looking at magazines except for the occasional gift catalog.

I only read two magazines, and that's Zoo Weekly and FourFourTwo.

FourFourTwo, is a football magazine.

I get Newsweek International every 2 weeks (subscription) and then I read whatever magazine gets left on my mailbox (mostly catalogs or local news magazines given free by the mayor's office).

I get a science magazine called Discover every month. I stopped subscribing I dunno how long ago, but I don't mind. Their articles are pretty interesting.

I get reader's digest too. Easy reading for time killing.
