mainly just the title, i normally dont even read the blurb on the back of the book because sometimes those can be a turn off for what may turn out to be a really good book. or a really good blurb for a really bad book (like Jane Eyre, the version that we had to read for school had a really interesting blurb on the back, then it turned out to be crap).

Usually when I read a book it's because I am told that it is a good book.
"Ohh! OOOhhh!!!-Oh and again! I made it. I know it. I can't see it but I know I made it. Oh my God I made it. Alright, don't give up. This is for everything. This is when I don't have to do it. This one right here is when I don't have to do it, which leaves nothing else but the one. No I don't think so. Not there. God I wish I could turn the volume-OH **** Aahhh son of a **** I talk too much. ****." - 00vega -
Counting down toChristmas:I hope everyone had a great Christmas!
I chose recommendation, though many times I'd also go by the author.
Mostly I don't get to buy books in a store and borrow books from my mum who is part of a book club. So I guess it'll be by her recommendation or if the summery of the book seem interesting
I go with the authors I read first and then browse that category and see what titles grab me which then leads me to reading excerpts and if it sounds okay I'll buy it. Then if I like the style/writing I'll start looking for those authors books until I have read all of them and start the process all over again.
hmm... normally i pick up a book based on the fact it looks like its part of a trilogy. I hate finishing a book and wishing there was more to it. I guess that would possibly be a mixture of cover and title.
usually by author recognition or recommendation (like the Alex Rider series that someone thinks i should read....im waiting for the first book to be back in the library right now)
Other than that the books I just got done reading this week were picked purely by the title then the blurb on the back
