That's what I thought too, but apparently someone else doesn't agree.

The Grow Your Own 1Up Mushroom does not come with any soil. You need to provide your own. It can be found on the ground, generally outdoors. - ThinkGeek

Still reading The Celestine Prophecy. It's actually a lot better than I thought it would be.

After this I've got a choice between The Hard Way, a Jack Reacher novel (I forget the authors name without the book to hand), Porterhouse Blues, and a couple of others.

You treat me as an outsider. You call an outcast, brand me an exile, but I am not so different from your kind, you know. Some small part of me was once Human. Perhaps this is why I fight for you...

Really into historical fantasy lately, and Sara Douglass has been my pal for awhile. I finished her Troy Game quartet recently, and have started her Crucible quartet.

What I really love about these books is not only are they well-researched and believable to a point, but the characters are so flawed and human, you have no idea whose side you should be on. The stories are riveting, and I can't get enough of her.

The best I read of hers, though, would have to be her Wayfarer Redemption series. Totally fantasy, but I loved every bit of it.

Well, I finished the Celestine Prophecy, which was really quite good. I bought Terry Pratchett's Bromeliadm which is his Truckers, Diggers, and Wings all in one, and another Eric Nylund Halo book, The Ghosts Of Onyx. Awesome.

The Ghosts Of Onyx is actually pretty good. No flood, though... What I'm reading is the third installment of the Dark Tower series The Wastelands. And it's pretty damn awesome.

**** that damn blog.
