Right now I am on the first book of the Dresden Files, called Storm Front. Normally I find books to be boring, but Jim Butcher doesn't worry about trying to use proper English, he worries about telling a good story. He succeeds in keeping my attention.

As wicked as you are, you're beautiful to me
You're the darkest burning star, you're my perfect disease

The lying, the bleeding, the screaming
Was tearing me apart
The hatred, the beatings; it's over

I'm reading the first Bridget Jones' Diary; The Hard Way, a Jack Reacher novel who's author I can't remember; Jester - again, can't remember the author but I've not long started it anyway, so meh.

Finished the Celestine Prophecy a while back - I highly recommend it.

This is a really good book - I really liked it Clay makes an interesting character, and you're right, it does start quite slow.

You treat me as an outsider. You call an outcast, brand me an exile, but I am not so different from your kind, you know. Some small part of me was once Human. Perhaps this is why I fight for you...

I've decided to read 1984... again

I love it. Actually I haven't read it since high school, it was time for a refresher.

“When freedom shivers in the cold shadow of true peril, it’s always the patriots who first hear the call. When loss of liberty is looming, as it is now the siren sounds first in the hearts of freedom’s vanguard.” -Charlton Heston
