Steve Martin, lol.

F*** all, unfortunately - I want to read the Amber Spyglass Trilogy again, or Dark Materials or whatever the trilogys called. I've got the Amber Spyglass at my house, but I think the other two are with the bulk of my books at my other grans

You treat me as an outsider. You call an outcast, brand me an exile, but I am not so different from your kind, you know. Some small part of me was once Human. Perhaps this is why I fight for you...

Today I returned the book One Strike Away to the library. I decided to finish a book that I started in the summer:

Emperors and Idiots: The Hundred-Year Rivalry Between the Yankees and Red Sox, from the very beginning to the end of the curse
By Mike Vaccaro

And I'm going to attempt to read:

Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand

at the same time... I'll see how this works out

Wheel of Time: Fires of Heaven, by Robert Jordan.

Lol, I wanted to check if I was right about a suspicion awhile ago on the net, so I went to wiki (I was right) and ended up finding a bunch more spoilers than I'd meant to, risks of doing it I guess. Now I know something that's gonna happen in this book, and it's gotta happen soon, I keep thinking each chapter's gonna bring it. Just hurry up and get it over wiiith. =<

To my eternal shame, I started - purely due to a lack of anything else to read - Harry Potter last night, the first one. I decided to see how long it'll take me to read the entire series, so it's more of an observational experiment than entertainment.

I'm guessing about a week, maybe two.
