CC <$.38 in NYSE

Yup, for anyone who doesn't know what CC is in the NYSE it's Circuit City. Ccity's stock is now $.38 a share. They are actually going to start closing down Ccity's nation wide. A total of 150 stores have been scheduled to close right around christmas. Ccity actually has an internal forum which only employees can venture, and with the forum I can see that a some odd 2000 employees have already been laid off.

I read that yesterday. It doesn't bother me one iota. Now if BestBuy would follow suit I'd be happy. Neither one of those places in my opinion are worth a damn and there customer service is a joke.

Looks like another company is gearing up to prepare for an Obama tax hike. ****... he's not even president yet and people are loosing jobs. Sad people don't see it.

This is not relevant to the thread. Circuit City has lost significant business due to best buy. They are not closing stores because of taxes.

I haven't been to a CC or Best Buy in a long time. But I always preferred CC. BB is the lowest priced b/c they have the lowest quality. Their appliances are just junk compared to stores like Sears. I assume since CC is in free fall, they've made some costly mistakes over the past few years.
