Sorry to say we will not be investing in the coffee shop.
It was a termite and tetanus trap. All the equipment was outdated. It also didn't help that it was not in the prime location they listed, they forgot to mention a Dry cleaners right in front of the building and you can only see a tiny bit of the shop from the road.

I also found out that there was an e-coffee shop less than a block from the one for sale and it was their main competition.

So I am still looking for something. Still playing with the BMX/ Skate Park idea as well.

I just haven't seen what I am looking for at this time, so I will keep looking for now.

Now that seems perfect for you. Your boys would have the coolest dad in the neighborhood.

I have found a few locations to build the park at but the concrete work is the killer in the cost, then there is the insurance details.

So for now I am just looking for something that jumps out at me and says invest your money here.

If we do the skate/BMX park we were thinking of calling it "The urban wave, or Concrete wave something like that. I want it to have a cool as hell name. Just haven't found the right one.

I'll post more on the park idea after I get all the costs totaled up and have a better idea of what I am looking at.

I am not super rich but well enough off to do the things I like, I just made good investment choices when I was younger and avoided blowing my cash on stupid a frivolous things.

I made good money back in the 90's selling comics and toys (Atomic Comics) and eBay, as well as the royalties for some toys that I help to bring to life and some movie props too.

Now I am looking for something that I can hand over to my sons to run and learn from when they get older not to mention something fun to do. I am the worlds biggest little kid and I love it.

I sold my half of the shop when i moved to Colorado and opened several more shops.

I have now since sold them off and am currently looking for something fresh and new to do. The comic world is all played out. It will take another 20 years for things to go back to the way they were before the net killed Rare hard to find stuff and made the uncommon common.

But no joke I was one of the founders of Atomic Comics and other Big Comic shops out there in comic book land.
