Yeah, pretty much. Well, when you're a kid, you'll collect anything shiny or glossy, right? It was pretty much, "gimme shiny!"

Yeah I know , Gotta love still being half young. Oooooohhhh SHINY CARD. I used to go nuts over hockey cards , One day I remember blowing over $100 on hockey cards but now I don't buy em 'cause I don't have the money. But I keep whatever I find.

the only cards i go nuts for shiny still is yugioh....with the sports cards it got boring for me when you could bounce a money card off the sidewalk and it would be undamaged....kinda killed the idea of collecting if its unharmable

I still ove yugioh cards. The beauty of not playing anymore is you can focus on art/appeal alone instead of playability.

i still play and love the artwork...the samurai's look great and some of the cards from FOTB look HAWT

That really is the only bad thing about hockey cards being that they are not all colorful and done up well. They have some good designs but a lot of them are just plain and don't really stand out.

I collect basketball cardsand got sum pretty sweet ones to.
i have this one card with a piece of jersey from Kobe,nash,mcgrady,gordon,peirce,and allen.

My buddy collects baseball cards like that.
He's got pieces of shirts and bats from Manny Ramirez, Pedro Martinez, and Randy Johnson I believe. Definitely cool stuff to collect.
