What kind of player are you?

Tight is the opposite. A tight player plays fewer hands per hour than his opponents average. This can result in only seeing anywhere from 10% to 25% of flops in Holdem.
Passive players are those that rarely bet. They are happy to call and fold, but they are not often seen making raises of their own.
Aggressive players on the other hand, are those that raise and reraise significantly more than the average. They may be perfectly willing to reraise you whilst on a flush draw, or whilst holding second pair.

So what kind of player are you? I consider myself mostly passive but sometimes loose, it all depends on my mood. I don't like seeing my chips go so I actually play pretty conservatively. However, I tend to bet too much when I have a good hand, it's something I need to work on.

In the end we're all just chalk lines on the concrete, drawn only to be washed away . .
I'd rather you hate me for everything I am
Than have you love me for something that I'm not

I always play agressive when it's not for real money. But when I am playing for money (which is most of the time), I tend to play 'tight' at the beginning, but if I start to get ahead I will go back to my aggressive style. It does work sometimes, the last time I played I won 150 dollars.
Also, a helpful tip for you is that if you were playing a loose/passive type game, it may hurt you because if you stay in, and are indimidated by larger bets, it will slowly start to take away your chip count. It may be hard to bluff when you're nervous, and by doing so you might lose a lot of chips, but there's also the chance that you may gain a lot of chips and then you may go back to a loose type of style.
Oh yeah, and finally, betting too much when you have a good hand. Another helpful tip here is if you catch a straight draw lets say on 4th street, and check, the other person will think that you didn't catch the straight. Then you can bet next turn and the other person might think that they can beat you, and might even raise, which you could re-raise.

I play tight for real money. I call if I have really promising cards only (10 to face suited, high pair) and usually don't progress past the flop if the cards aren't going my way. Of course, I pull out the occasional semi-bluff, but mostly I try to give the impression that I play great hands only.
I bet people out only if they've got obvious straight and flush draws, but little incentive to shell out big bucks. They tend to be the ones that can really get you in the end.

I don't like playing with real money, so I usually play pretty loose. This isn't to say I lose a lot, but when I do, I prefer it to be with chips that don't make me lose money to not get back.

In PartyPoker yesterday, I waited probably two or three dozen hands before I went all the way to the hand's end, and won back to back pots.
I guess I play really tight if i'm the short stack or among the lowest chip counts, but I loosen up some when I get some capital.

I play it loose sometimes, other wise i play it medium. I practicly live off of my bluffs. I am really good at them.

I bluff if people are obviously just hanging onto the pot, and there hasn't been very much betting also. In addition, if there's a possible flush or straight out, I might bet big. If I have a good-looking hand, I'll also push out people waiting for draws.

I'm kind of everything. When I have a big lead, I might just start raising wildly or fold all the time. Sometimes making wild moves throw your opponent off.
