I know it's early in the season, but which conference do you think is the strongest?

Most people always say the SEC right away, and it's certainly one of the best, if not the best, but honestly I think it's a little overrated. I'd put the Big XII right up there with the SEC this year. Texas, Oklahoma, and Missouri are elite teams. Then you have Kansas, Texas Tech, and Texas A&M who are solid. Nebraska and Colorado are on the rise.

One thing is for sure: the ACC and Big East are terrible this year.

I'd put the SEC and Big XII on top. Big Ten and Pac-10 in the middle. ACC and Big East way at the bottom.

Big XII without a doubt. for a number of reasons but mostly because of all the talented QB WR RB combinations.

LMAO You didnt give any love to the WAC! We've got Boise State and Nevada-Reno and Even Fresno State who's in the top 25 right now...hell we just beat #10 Wisconsin!

Um, Wisconsin won 13-10 on Fresno's home field. Outside of Fresno and Boise State there just aren't many quality teams in the conference.

After the first three weeks of the season one conference that has impressed me is the Mountain West. The conference is 4-0 against the Pac-10, including wins over #15 Arizona State and a 59-0 beatdown of UCLA, their worst lost in 75 years. Also, Utah won at Michigan in week 1. I'd say the Mountain West is better than the ACC or Big East right now.
