Oklahoma new #2

ESPN - College Football BCS Standings, NCAA College Football BCS Standings, NCAA Football BCS Standings

1. Alabama
2. Oklahoma
3. Texas
4. Florida
5. USC
6. Utah
7. Texas Tech
8. Penn State
9. Boise State
10. Ohio State

That means Oklahoma won the Big 12 South tiebreaker and will play Missouri in the conference championship game on Saturday.

Florida plays Alabama in the SEC championship game on Saturday.

If Oklahoma beats Missouri they'll most likely play the Alabama/Florida winner in the national championship game, though it's possible for an Oklahoma/Texas rematch if Florida wins and doesn't jump Texas in the rankings.

If USC beats UCLA they'll play Penn State in the Rose Bowl.

The final BCS at-large bid will be either Boise State or Ohio State.

Like I said in the other thread I dont agree with Oklahoma getting in over Texas. They ran up the score against OK St and Tech and I think that's the main reason they jumped Texas...who they LOST too.

I don't understand the BCS that much because like I said a number of times, they don't show much College Football games here in my area.

So my question is this, why did Florida go down after beating Auburn 36-0?

I thought they would of stayed at number two at least.

"How to hit home runs: I swing as hard as I can, and I try to swing right through the ball...The harder you grip the bat, the more you can swing it through the ball, and the farther the ball will go. I swing big, with everything I've got. I hit big or I miss big. I like to live as big as I can." Babe Ruth

Well then why not put Texas Tech at #2? They beat Texas and they're also 11-1.

Florida didn't go down. They were #4 last week and they're #4 this week.

Hard to argue against that since they were all 1-1 against each other. I guess you have to go with strength of schedule? Im assuming that played a huge part. Let's look at it closer in their head to head:

Texas Tech beat Texas 39-33
Oklahoma beat Texas Tech 65-21
Texas beat Oklahoma 45-35

Texas Tech was -38 in points
Oklahoma was +34 in points
Texas was +4 in points

So yeah, base it off that and you get Oklahoma. Maybe I should change my tune. Guess its better to lose earlier in the season.
