Pryor, Boeckman To Split Snaps
Scout.com: Pryor, Boeckman To Split Snaps
I personally this is a great decision by the coaching staff, I believe Pryor is extremely talented and he'll be able to handle the pressure and perform well on the field has a freshman.

"How to hit home runs: I swing as hard as I can, and I try to swing right through the ball...The harder you grip the bat, the more you can swing it through the ball, and the farther the ball will go. I swing big, with everything I've got. I hit big or I miss big. I like to live as big as I can." Babe Ruth

I'd be a lot happier if they'd just say Pryor is the full-time quarterback, but at least it sounds like he'll be getting a lot more playing time. The season is pretty much lost for Ohio State (I'm sure most Buckeye fans wouldn't consider another Big Ten Championship a success) and Pryor is the future of the team, so I think he deserves to take over as starter.

What he said. Boeckman needs to have as little to do with the offense as possible as far as I'm concerned. Hell, I'd be happy if they just sat Boeckman and had Pryor and Bauserman split the snaps.

I agree. From what I've seen of Bauserman, he's more capable than Boeckman. It's like the coaching staff is letting Boeckman play because he's a 6th year player or something.
They need to just put the best players on the field. It pisses me off how the most explosive receivers are sitting on the bench. Robiskie and Hartline just don't impress me. Robiskie makes some nice plays, but seems like more of a #2 receiver. Meanwhile they have talented young receivers watching from the sidelines. Taurian Washington, Devier Posey, and Lamar Thomas should be getting more time.

Well Pryor ended up playing all but around seven or so snaps in the game against Troy and he is already showing promise after his first start. 10-16 with 141 yards passing and 4 TDs (he also had 62 yards rushing on 14 carries). He still looked a bit rough around the edges, but all in all he played rather well. It seems obvious that Pryor is the new starting QB. Boeckman was only in for I think around three or four plays, and the commentators were saying it was probably to keep him from being booed by the crowd as much.
I'm going to be interested to see just how involved Boeckman is going to be in the offense now. My guess is that they will be using him more for the bigger games (at Wisconsin, Penn State, at Illinois, etc.) but I think that may change if Pryor keeps improving and showing what he is capible of.

I was impressed by Pryor. I don't see any reason to use Boeckman at all in big games. Pryor already has more poise. Hopefully they start letting him throw the ball more. He's proven he can be dangerous with his arm as well as his legs.
