Who's your Heisman?
There's a lot of good candidates for the Heisman trophy this year.
Also earlier this season it didn't look like Tim Tebow could repeat, but he's been playing great lately.
So who's your choice for the Heisman?

I'd give it to one of the Big 12 South quarterbacks. Probably either Colt McCoy or Sam Bradford. Graham Harrell was up there too, but I don't know after he struggled against Oklahoma.

I think Michael Crabtree is the best player in college football but my pick is Sam Bradford, quarterback at Oklahoma.

So neither of you believe Tim Tebow as a chance of winning it? Is it because he struggle early? Did that hurt his chances?
By the way, I am not doubting the players you guys listed, they all make a strong case to win it, especially Colt McCoy

I think that is precisely why Tebow is the longshot. His performance this year, while still good, is nowhere near as impressive as it was last year. He has 1000 less passing yards and 400 less rushing yards this year(granted it is over one less game thus far, but thats still a sizeable decrease). Last year he had 32 passing TDs and 23 rushing TDs, while this year he has 25 and 12, respectively. His less than stellar performance early in the season, particularly in the loss to Mississippi, cost him his chance for a repeat in most peoples eyes. Statistically he isn't anywhere near the best QB in the NCAA, let alone the best player.
I'm not sure who will come away with it, but I agree with Echoes that it will probably be a Big 12 QB to win it.

Tebow will be one of the finalists for sure, but like VV said, his season didn't live up to last year's. He didn't really need to be the same player he was last year since Florida has so many more weapons on offense to help carry the load. I just think Colt McCoy and Sam Bradford have had better seasons.

Had Texas Tech won the Big 12 South and gotten to the National Championship I would have picked Graham Harrell in a heartbeat. Since that didn't happen I'll give the nod to Bradford...unless they are upset by Mizzou...then I might switch to McCoy.
