Director Unsure About a Third Batman Movie

I'm still hopeful that Nolan will decide to make a third Batman. I know it's going to be really hard to top the Dark Knight, and everyones expectations will be extremely high if he does decide to make another one. But personally I reall he does.

I'm fairly confident he'll make a 3rd one. All of the clues indicate it. The fans want it, the studios want it, there have been subtle hints in the film itself (the first movie was called Batman Begins, the second movie was called The Dark Knight and the had the line about it being darkest before the dawn - it would make sense for there to be a 3rd one that is a bit lighter, and wraps things up). Also, both the first and second one did a good job of concluding, yet definitely feeling like they were introducing the next movie (and in fact, Batman Begins DID introduce The Dark Knight).

I think if Heath was still alive it would be a different issue. Despite what he says about not thinking about future movies, I bet he had an idea of where he'd like to go with the Batman / Joker dynamic.

Third Batman movie? Surely there have been around 4 or 5 by now.

Well technically theres been about 7 but obviously it's referring to the third in the new series.

I hope to hell they don't make a third one. I think they should end it at Dark Knight because honestly, Nolan has massive shoes to fill. It was kind of like Spiderman 3 because it was follows the massive financial and critical success that Spidey 2 was.

I do but I got confused that it was the third movie, considering I've watched heaps of other ones as well.

And all I'm saying is if you actually read the article, you wouldn't be confused.

There's no reason to hope they don't make a third. If anything I hope they make a third that is awesome. Obviously nobody wants to see a third if it's terrible.

The guy knows what he's doing. He should be able to pull it off if given enough time. The Dark Knight really leaves people wanting more and to leave it at that would be a disservice to the franchise if you ask me.

I know people want more, my point is that even though he accomplished so much with the Dark Knight, he has massive shoes to fill.
