I don't know about that. I'll reserve my judgement on it until after I see but I don't have high hopes for it. Of course, it could also be that I'm not that big of a Batman fan either.
Its a shame, I always hate it when actors change between films. On the other hand, Maggie Gyllenhael is a better actress in my opinion so overall its good news.
Something tells me Tom Cruise controls that woman. I doubt she made the call to stay out of the movie. The last thing I saw her in was Thank You For Smoking. Which was actually a really good movie very original with the crap they have been cookie cuttering off the presses.
She didn't do so good of a job as Rachel. She was dull and I wasn't feeling her character at all. It was mostly the monotone voice and lack of emotion.
