I would like to see Harley Quinn/The Joker. I think that would be an awesome movie.

But I don't think they will use the Joker as the main villain again so soon. From what I hear he'll be in the third movie.

I was thinking maybe since Quinn is his psychiatrist that maybe will the Joker will be shown in an asylum and they'll introduce Harley(which could possibly setup up a villain for a 4th movie).

From what I've heard there's a decent chance that if there is a 3rd Nolan and Bale won't be a part of it. Bale said he won't return if Nolan doesn't and Nolan hasn't said anything to imply that there even will be a 3rd.

Sure it makes sense MONEY-WISE to make a third, and you can bet WB will probably push for a 3rd of some type, but unless Nolan and Bale are a part of it I really think it will fail. Like Bale or not, you can't just replace the main character in something this big.

I've heard rumors of Leonardo DiCaprio playing the Joker. They'd do prostheticc to make him look as much like Ledger as possible. That could work for two reasons. #1, if you've seen the Aviator you know DiCaprio can be insane. #2, he has a similar build and facial shape as Ledger. Round out the nose, give him a receeding hairline and he could look close to the part.

Do I want to see another Joker? Absolutely not. I think even Nolan is smart enough to leave a masterpiece untouched. If the next Joker is better it tains TDK. If the next Joker is worse well then the 3rd movie comes across as a cheesecake.

Harley Quinn wouldn't necessarily fit into Nolan's Gotham anyway. I mean, she wears spandex and a jester hat... Bright red too.

The next movie should focus around a Depp Riddler and the Scarecrow. Scarecrow is the only major villain so far to be clearly still alive besides the Joker, which I think should be left completley alone for now considering that it's a HUGE part (and a risky part) to recast.

As for Raz Al Ghoul being immortal. Maybe he is in the comics but come on, immortality doesn't fit into a realistic Batman movie. He said in the first movie that if you can become something greater than human you become a legend. He also had other people say they were him. When they were killed he was still alive. That's about as close to immortality as people want to accept in a realistic movie.

I definitely don't want to see Bane though. I caught Batman & Robin on TV the other night and had a very bad experience. 100% no on Bane from me. It was like watching a giant retarded cave troll.

I agree with whoever said the next villain needs to be one that lets Batman investigate and be a detective of sorts. He only did that for one scene in TDK.

Johnny Depp as the Riddler with the rest of the cast returning and the movie will be box office gold.

Catwoman could work as a side villain with the Riddler as main.

The real Bane is nothing like that.

The original bane was an intelligent assassin. He was just ridiculously strong because of the venom. The Bane in Batman and Robin was like Frankenstein and was extremely lame. Bane as in the comics was smart enough to make his own plans and would be a good match for batman

He went after Batman and broke his back because he wanted to be known as the best.

Azrael stepped in as Batman, too. That's probably a little too deep for the Nolan movies.

Well he does have to break his back but bane was around before the knightfall series so they could just do something along the lines of the new mafia regime or whatever crime group hires him to kill Batman or at the very least he could be a sub villain (two-face)

Besides, there were a lot of things in this movie that just felt like they were going to be continued in the next one.

Not to mention the symbolism of Dent's statement about it being darkest before dawn, and the movie being called The Dark Knight.
